About the Awards
The Federal Capital Planning & Investment Control (CPIC) Forum recognizes
individuals from government, industry and academia who significantly
influenced and improved how the federal government leverages and manages
information technology and other "Major" Capital Assets. Federal Capital
Planning & Investment Control Forum awards winners are recognized and
publicly honored for their community participation, partnership,
collaboration, performance and innovation with regard to Portfolio
Management (PfM) and CPIC activities.
Candidates can be nominated by any active member of the government and
industry Capital Planning community. All nominations are evaluated by an
independent panel of judges for their contributions to CPIC and PfM in the
Federal sector. The selected winners will be announced and will receive
Federal CPIC Forum Awards at a reception during CPIC 2008, the 1st Annual
Federal CPIC Forum Conference, co-sponsored and produced by
Government*Horizons Inc. (link the conference name to the July 22-23
conference website.)
