About
Your Instructor:
Ronald J. Hubbard, AIA
Mr. Hubbard has 35 years of management experience in all aspects of the built environment, including 10 years of federal program and program management experience. His work experience includes positions with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington, D.C, Frankfurt, and Heidelberg, Germany as well as with the Western Division Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San Bruno, California. He is experienced in all phases of business development, including marketing plans, strategic planning, market research, marketing calls, RFP responses/SF255 proposals and all forms of presentations. Mr. Hubbard has been a proposal manager or significant contributor on $746 million in proposed design, construction and environmental contracts, 90% to short list; $521 million to win in CY 2000.
Mr. Hubbard is the President of C&H Associates, Clifton, Va, which is currently leading a program management team to design/build the new American University in Afghanistan, the new American university in Pakistan and $5.8 Billion in development projects to include a $1.1 Billion hospital complex in Texas. Mr. Hubbard served with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Navy Reserves.
He is a licensed architect (Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina) and holds a NCARB Certificate. He is a Sustaining Member, Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and was selected as their Sustaining Member of the Year for 1996 (Top Corporate Member out of 3,500 companies). A SAME/Washington Post Scholarship is named in his honor (The Ronald James Hubbard Annual Scholarship). He is a Member, American Institute of Architects (AIA), holds a Top Secret Clearance (DISCO) and is a Member, Construction Management Association of America (CMAA)

CANCELLATION POLICY: You
may designate a substitute in writing any time before the event.
If you need to cancel your registration, you must send your notice
in writing and will be subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds
are given for cancellations received one week prior to the event start
date or later. PLEASE NOTE: No shows will be liable for the entire
registration fee. In the rare occasion that the event is cancelled or postponed, please note our reimbursement is limited to paid tuition only.

The workshops will be held in the Government*Horizons Training Center in the Jefferson Plaza Building at 1421 Jefferson Davis Highway (7th floor), Arlington, VA 22202. Public parking at the facility is available for $10.00 early morning special (before 8:00am) or $18.00 all day. The Jefferson Plaza Building is just two blocks from the Crystal City Metro Station on the blue and yellow line. Please note: the parking garage is located on Crystal Drive.
