John Prahm Mr. Prahm is the Director of GSA's IT Portfolio Management Division, responsible for overseeing the agency's IT capital planning and investment control planning and execution activities. Mr. Prahm has been in this position for three years. Prior to his appointment as the Director, Mr. Prahm was the Deputy CIO in GSA's Federal Technology Service (FTS), where he led the development, award, and performance monitoring of FTS' SEAT Management task order, and championed evolution of the Operations Division to a performance based service delivery construct. Mr. Prahm also led FTS' governance revitalization efforts to improve the rigor of agency review and oversight of IT investments. Mr. Prahm was the Resources Management Division Director of GSA's IT Solutions (ITS) business line from 1999 to 2002, responsible for budget development and execution, IT strategic planning, infrastructure installation and support, facilities operations, and human resources coordination. As Deputy Director of the Federal Information Systems Support Program (FISSP) Program Management Office, Mr. Prahm managed the successful development and fielding of numerous business systems for this regionally-based Federal Technology Service (FTS) program. Mr. Prahm began his GSA career in FEDSIM, where he held positions as Program Manager, Senior Technical Manager, and Deputy Director of the Acquisition Division.
