Judy has been involved in technology and education since the early days of the consumer Internet. As Digital Communities across the US have evolved and technology has transformed both formal and informal educational models, Judy has led the the NinthWave team in developing portals that enrich, empower and enable local communities. Most recently, NinthWave has released their Public Emergency Portal solution - a solution to help local communities mobilize their members safely, effectively and efficiently during public emergencies.

Judy is a member of the ESTEME WEEK committee at the U.S. Department of Education to promote Excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Education Week held each year in the spring.
