Stephen V. Cantrill, MD, FACEP Dr. Cantrill is currently at Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He has lectured nationally and internationally on disasters, disaster management and multiple other topics. He served as the regional medical coordinator for Denver's participation in Operation TopOff 2000, a no-notice, 10 day multi-site weapons of mass destruction disaster exercise. He has also been involved in WMD planning and training for the Denver area and has participated in the planning for multiple mass gathering events, including the Denver Papal visit and the Denver Summit of Eight world economic conference. He also serves on the Governor’s Expert Emergency Epidemic Response Committee and has testified on bioterrorism preparedness to US Senate committees. He has served as principal investigator in two AHRQ grants dealing with regional surge capacity (RMBT) and national bed availability (HAvBED). He is also principal investigator on an ongoing HRSA WMD training grant (BNICE).
