Effective January 2006, all acquisition workforce personnel must obtain -
and maintain - certification at the level for which they are employed.
Training requirements are divided into program pre-requisites; core
requirements and electives; and post-certification Continuous Learning.
Click
here for more information on DAWIA/FAC-C certification.
With 38% of the federal acquisition
workforce eligible to retire by FY2008 and up to 20% more attrition due to
early retirements and transfer - agencies need a fast and effective way to
ensure their changing workforce meets core competency requirements,
supports the customer mission, and ensures efficient use of taxpayer
dollars.
Government*Horizons, a non-profit, woman-owned business, was established
to help the government acquisition workforce meet these needs. We
are continually adding courses and workshop and convenient locations.
Or we can bring our courses to you for cost-effective group training.
